This policy applies to the Multibrain Creator mobile application (“the app”), its website and API services (“services”), and lays out the data we collect, why we collect it, how it is handled, and your rights with respect to that data. Multibrain Creator is owned and operated by Multibrain Network, Inc. (“us”).

What we collect

As you use the app, we may with your consent collect statistics about your activity within the app so we can evaluate how people use the app and to improve it. This information is stored in the European Union with a randomly generated identifier for your device, and contains no personal data.

If you choose to provide us your email address and consent to updates, we may periodically let you know about new features and other marketing information. You may unsubscribe from these updates at any time via the link in each email. Service-related emails (help requests, feedback, etc.) may not include an offer to unsubscribe as they are necessary to provide the service you requested.

Data security

All requests to our servers are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology, often known as SSL. We restrict access to data to our employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information to operate, develop, and improve the app and are bound to confidentiality agreements.

While we take efforts to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the Internet. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk.

Bases for processing your data

We collect and use the information described in this policy to provide you with the app and its services in a reliable and secure fashion. We also collect and use this data for our legitimate business needs. In cases where we process your personal data for other purposes, we ask for your consent in advance. In some cases, we may process your data to comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulation, to prevent death or serious bodily injury, or to carry out tasks in the public interest.

Where we process your data

To provide you with the app and its services, we may store, process, and transmit in the United States and elsewhere. Data may also be stored locally on your device.

Your rights to control your data

You have control over your personal data and how it is collected, used, and shared. We extend the basic rights guaranteed by legislation such as the European Union’s GDPR and California’s CCPA to all users. This means you may obtain access to the data we have stored about you, ask us to correct or remove data we hold, object to our processing of your data, request restrictions on how we process your data, receive an export of the data we possess about you, and request review of automated decisions made by our systems. Third parties

A number of third party tools and services are used to provide you with the app and its services. In each case, Multibrain relies on a variety of legal mechanisms including contracts and Data Processing Agreements to ensure your personal information is protected.

Law enforcement and public interest

We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is warranted by any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or appropriate government request; to protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; to prevent fraud or abuse of our services; to protect our rights and interests; or to perform a task in the public interest.

Exclusions

This privacy policy does not extend to unsolicited information you may provide us, like feature requests, feedback, or support questions.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, please do not submit any data to the app or our website. If you have reason to believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will remove it from our systems where possible.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, the changes will be posted here in a timely manner. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. In the case of a business transaction in which the app or our company is acquired, we will notify you in the app or via email if you have provided it.
